We bought a Bissell lift-off at Sears last year and have had nothing but trouble with it. It’s an extremely hi maintainance Vacuum cleaner and an absolute engineering disaster. When it was new, after a couple uses, it started blowing out dust by the hepa filter. We live on Maui and took it to Sears almost none existant service center twice. Each time they said there was nothing wrong with it. Bissell produced such piece of garbage with this model that I would never buy Bissell again. By the way it is model 3760-1
We purchased this vacuum a couple of months ago to deal with the never-ending shedding of our Siberian Husky. Before this we had a Hoover, an Oreck and a Eureka and none of them worked as well as this Bissell. The dirt receptacle is easy to empty out and doesn’t make a big mess like other bagless vacuums we’ve had. We vacuum every morning to keep up with the shedding and after at 60 days of continuous use we haven’t had a single problem with it and keeps our new carpets spotless.
