Stinky Sports Cleats and Smelly Gym Bags

Monday April 4, 2005
Let's face it, sometimes our shoes smell. Coming in from our last soccer game, I noticed a hint of stinky feet coming from our shoe organizer. Sure enough a well-worn pair of cleats was the culprit. Whether your shoe odors come from tennis shoes or dress shoes, you can find ways to banish smells. Try the hints in your gym bag too.

Another great way to clean smelly shoes, sports equipment, and GYM bags is to have them washed in an Esporta washing machine.

Simply place the pouches found in Sportzgemz in the offending footwear and sports bag. The volcanic mineral absorbs the moisture and odour. Your shoes will be “smell free”! After 6 months or so the pouches will begin to smell, when that happens place the pouches in the sun to recharge them. You can use them over and over and over.
