Reader Question, Do Antibacterial Cleaners Work Better Than Others?

One reader writes, "I hear so much today about antibacterial this and antibacterial that. Do I need to be using antibacterial cleaners in my home? Do they really help clean better than the other soaps and detergents I've been using? I have also heard a lot about antibacterial resistance. Is this really a problem caused by cleaners?
