As for me and my house, we have been on a really tight budget for about 2 years now.. Its unbelieveable how bread and eggs has sky rocketed, esp this year..
We do not go out to dinner and movies and we haven’t had a real vacation in about 8 years !
So my point is , there is no where for us to cut back on spending, we are doing the best we can..
I work , as does my husband and we have a kid in college..

My family consists of five on a single income. I’ve been a stay at home mother for five years. Budgeting isn’t a consideration, it’s a way of life for us. We grow veggies, but only the ones we’ll eat. I use vinegar, lemon, salt and baking soda for cleaners. I’ve had great sucsess in using them for cleaning and economically. We shop once a week and cram all the errands into one day. That way we aren’t making mini-trips and eating up gas. I baby-sit to bring in a bit of extra money. Our diet has little varitey, but we’re not starving by any means. The local store runs 10 lb. sales on produce and dry goods occasionaly, so I try to stock up on those items. Not everyone will get through ten pounds of product before it would waste. One could split the cost and product with another person or group.
