Wednesday March 11, 2009
It's sounds like a dream. In a few hours a week your home is made spotlessly clean, and you don't even have to lift a finger. Hiring a housekeeper is a dream come true for many families. Busy moms and dads find themselves struggling to cram all the components of life into a very packed schedule, for some, hiring out the cleaning of their home makes perfect sense, and frees up a little more time in their week. But if you don't want hiring a housekeeper to turn into a nightmare, there are some real issues to consider.

We hired a housekeeping company 5 1/2 years ago when we moved to our new home. It was twice the size of the home we moved from and I literally spent hours each day cleaning and straightening. We checked out several companies and finally settled on one that is run by a husband and wife team. We’ve had the same crew for the entire 5 1/2 years and have had a wonderful experience. Now, I just need someone to help with all of our laundry!!!
