I'm fascinated by the precise lines of ants that we begin to see as the weather warms up. They are singularly devoted to their purpose of finding food. I am devoted to keeping them away from my home

Have you've seen the lines of ants, and now want to disrupt their trail? There are several easy ways to clean or disguise an ant's scent trail.

This was an interesting article. I’ve tried using bleach in my ant fooler mix as well coupled with alcohol, and some floor cleaning liquid. I even threw in a piece of stick glue for added interest. That mixture seems to deter them for a few days (or until it rains). Btw, DON’T put vinegar in with bleach. I’ve also been experimenting with halapeno slices in the mix. I’ll try some of these things now.

In the past I hve tried many of these suggestions this year I tried adding 7 drops of peppermint essential oil to a small spray bottle and it has worked wonderfully. I have only had to respray the area about 3 times over a week period. Now it has been about a month since I have seen any scouting ants.
