Why do you suggest people use natural products to clean (which is great) then suggest the best make washing up liquid as Palmolive – this company is known for animal testing??????? Also it is not natural and therefore not healthy to ingest??
Debbie,
Dish soap is a great, and very mild, cleaner that can be used in many areas of the home. There are tons of brands of dish soap to choose from, including brands that use natural ingredients and have a committment to the environmnet.
However, I wouldn’t suggest ingesting any dish soap or detergent of any kind, natural or not.
I’ve had some success for ink stains with a new-ish stain removal product. It has removed the ink from a felt-tip pen and from ballpoint ink as well. The product is Shout Advanced Action Gel, formulated for set-in stains. It has removed even set-in chocolate from clothes, too. You can even treat the fabric, and let the clothing sit in the laundry basket for up to a week! So far, for me, it’s been a wonderful aide in the laundry room.
A really good natural air freshener I’ve found is the Gonzo Odor Eliminator. It’s like baking soda, but it’s reusable and works in large rooms as well as closets. I accidentally melted a spatula and the odor eliminator totally wiped out the burned-plastic smell.
