Even though every member of the family may have a ton of activities now that school is starting, this is no time to abandon chores. In order to keep your family running smoothly, your home must run in an orderly fashion. Chores are necessary, but they should be fair. Find out what chores are appropriate for your child's age.

As parents it is important to know when to assign chores to the kids, especially children at a very tender age. Some parents find this disconcerting since they doubt whether the kids are up to the task. It is essential therefore that parents ask experts or professionals, even other parents on when, how and what tasks are to be given.
Hello Sarah!
I was zipping through some of my favorites and found yours! I have never seen your site but maybe my kids did! Any way I love it, your just what I need in our lives right now. I’m going nuts trying to figure out what to do with these messy kids. One has ADD and the other one has CP. Your simple easy to follow steps are great. Can’t wait to get started.
Thank You!

Using a chore chart that includes mom and dad’s tasks as well as the kids’ also helps the family appreciate the fact that everyone needs to “pitch in” to keep the household running smoothly. Even creating the chore chart should be a shared task, not relegated to mom! Creating a family chore chart on an online family organizer like Habitudes.info allows parents to customize and print it. They can change assignments easily and not have to re-do the entire chart as the children grow.
