5 Best Steam Mops

By January 13, 2011

Follow me on:

An accounting of the things spilled on my floors in a day's time is actually astonishing. Between food, beverages, craft supplies, general dirt, muddy footprints, and a lot of stuff I can't identify, my floors are mopped daily. I've always used a traditional mop. I've always used the same mopping solution. I always doubted the ability of a steam mop to make a dent in the mess attached to my floor. But these 5 steam mops passed the test. I don't think I can ever go back to my mop and bucket.

Hello Sara,

Thank you so much for the terrific information! You included most of what I wanted to know before buying a steam mop! Thanks and keep it up please!

I purchased Haan’s Multi steam cleaner about 15 months ago and it is no longer working – it does not heat the water. The “warrantee” is only good for 12 months. When I called the Haan service Department and described the problem (no steam – just cold water), all they offered was a 10% discount on another unit. Quality products last longer than the warrantee period. Not pleased at all that this Hann steam cleaner has only lasted a little more than 1 year and will consider another brand —– VERY disappointed in Haan.

That is very much disappointing LHampshire. I am sorry for your bad experience in Haan. We really do need electronics that are very useful, capable and durable. There is nothing more that we need in every household. And thank you Sarah, I could add your lists in my list.
