What Clutter's Last Stand Covers.

Don spends a lot of time covering our excuses. My favorite chapter is "101 Feeble Excuses For Hanging Onto Clutter." Sadly amid the humor we'll recognize a version of ourselves hanging on to things we might need someday, or that might spontaneously develop enough value to make us rich.

Clutter's Last Stand also covers decluttering personal treasures and gives us simple statements that help us determine what among our possesions is really junk. We will find information on riding ourselves of overwhelming paper clutter, office clutter, picture clutter and more. Another section sure to ring true is titled "Garage Sale Sickness." Garage sale junkies will laugh and learn why garage sales have increased 800 percent in the recent years and an inventory of what people are usually selling. There is something in Clutter's Last Stand for every type of junker.

What's Not Included in Clutter's Last Stand

If you're looking for a step by step guide to cleaning out your closet, you won't find it in Clutter's Last Stand. The book is teaching in nature and avoids generically naming clutter that belongs to others. Don gives you specific questions and tools to name your own junk and empower yourself to make choices and decisions about what you allow to be, "in you, on you, and around you. His message is powerful, very funny, and sure to strike a chord in many lives.

Audience for Clutter's Last Stand.

Don tells us that 97% of the people out there are cluttered and junky. The three percent that aren't are after the others to clean up their ways. 100% of the people out there have issues with junk and clutter. If you're looking for a fluid, funny, and truthful book on how to rid yourself of things you don't need, this is the book for you. Don't forget to read our interview with Don Aslett about the release of the second edition of Clutter's Last Stand.
