Quick Cleaning Tips for MP3 Players

By Sarah Aguirre, About.com

mp3 players need to be wiped down as well. Refer to manufacturers instructions for your particular model. mp3 players with screens need special care. Do not use paper towels as they may scratch the surface. Instead use a clean, soft, dry cloth. For more intense cleaning, try an ammonia free glass cleaner on the same type of cloth. Ear buds and cords may need to be wiped down as well.

If your mp3 player has been spilled on, it may need a cotton swab dipped in cleaner to get dirt out of the crevices. There are some commercially available scratch restoration kits that will minimize scratches. Consider investing in a case for your mp3 player.
