Week 1 Focus:
Planning and Clutter
Clear the way for an organized holiday season by getting rid of clutter and getting some early planning done.Planning:
To really get the holiday season started off correctly, well need a plan. To develop a plan we need to prepare some version of a holiday planning notebook. Set yours up and include the sections that you need. Once your holiday notebook is organized with the right forms and sections, its time to tackle clutter.
Clutter:
Because it gets in the way of cleaning, decorating, organizing, and entertaining, our week 1 focus is clutter. Were going to use the 4 container clutter method to go through each room in our home getting rid of obvious clutter. Remember the In/Out Rule. For every item that comes into your home, you need to let go of at least one and preferably 2-3. Youll have a lot of things coming in to your home during the holiday season. If you want any chance of being able to move around after New Years, well have to get rid of things as we go.
Week 1 Tasks:

Maintain cleanliness with a 15 Minute Cleanup for each room in your home.
