Cleaning a Microwave Oven

Whether it's chili from your last lunch, or pieces of a potato that exploded, the top of your microwave can get fairly dirty. Start cleaning the top first with a non-abrasive cleaning sponge with a little mild dishwashing soap and water. We start with the top so that pieces that fall off don't dirty or contaminate any other clean areas.
