Microwave Edge Cleaning

Sarah Aguirre
To get into the nooks and crannies of your microwave, the sponge will only go so far. To clean the interior and exterior edges, fashion your own edge cleaning tool out of a paper towel or cleaning cloth and a fork.

Wrap the cloth or towel around the fork several times so that the tines are no longer exposed. Rub the fork along the edges of the microwave to get into cracks. Because the tines are covered up, they will not scratch the microwave, but will succeed in picking up some extra gunk that would have been missed.
