Guide Review - Method Antibac Antibacterial Bathroom Cleaner
It can be tough to find earth and family friendly cleaners that can still knock out germs. Method's Antibac Antibacterial Bathroom Cleaner is one that claims to be able to fulfill both of those requirements.
My nine-year-old son and I put it to the test over the weekend, matching Method Antibac up against our downstairs bathroom.
It's germ killing active ingredient comes from essential thyme oil and is able to kill up to 99.9% of household germs, including influenza A, rhinovirus (common cold), staphylococcus aureus, salmonella enterica, and E. coli on hard non-porous surfaces.
To clean surfaces, simply wet and wipe clean. To disinfect a surface, the directions instruct you to spray the surface and allow it to sit for 10 minutes, air drying. No wiping is necessary. And to simply sanitize, wet and allow to air dry for 30 seconds.
Method's Antibac was easy to use, and my son remarked on how shiny and clean all the surfaces were when we were done. It was nice to know that we had disinfected the bathroom along with cleaning it.
The scent of Method's Antibac Antibacterial Bathroom Cleaner is spearmint. And although it is derived from natural ingredients, the scent can be a little overwhelming to those sensitive to strong smells. It's always a good idea to have ventilation when using cleaners, especially in smaller spaces like bathrooms. My son especially found the scent a little overpowering.
