Clorox Hard Surface Spray contains sodium hypochlorite as its active ingredient. This is essentially highly diluted bleach. Whereas normal bleach used for laundry purposes contains a 3-6 percent bleach concentration, Clorox Hard Surface Spray lists sodium Hypochlorite as .0095 percent of its solution. This diluted form of bleach is color-safe, does not need to be rinsed, and can kill salmonella, staphylococcus, streptococcus, E coli, and other types of bacteria without leaving any harmful residue. It is safe to use around children and pets.
Clorox Hard Surface Spray works on all non-porous hard surfaces. It is not designed for fabric or porous areas. Let the product sit for two minutes for best results.
