The Bottom Line

I love Method Dish Soap. The dish liquid works without leaving a thick residue to rinse away. Method Dish Soap is ultra concentrated, and trust me, a little goes a long way. The bottle design is unique and functional. Simply lift and squeeze to release a small amount of dish liquid directly from the bottom of the bottle. No gunky lids, or turning over the bottle. Method Dish Soap performed well for my baked on lasagna pan, plates will chili residue, and melted cheese messes.

Guide Review - Method Dish Soap Mandarin Aroma

The first thing you notice about Method's Dish Soap is the bottle. It's an intriguing design similar to a bowling pin. The bottle looks like a piece of sculpture more than a container for dish soap. I was even more intrigued by Method's idea to dispense their dish soap. Traditional bottles require the user to open a lid and turn the liquid upside down before squeezing. With Method, you just lift up the bottle, point it where you want the liquid to fall, and squeeze. A self sealing valve releases the liquid. I know it's a small thing, but gunky dish soap lids have always been a pet peeve of mine. I flipped out at the idea of never having to scrape gel-like dish soap off of a lid again.

The aroma of Method's dish soap is subtle yet fragrant. The mandarin scented liquid is fresh and clean without being overpowering and makes a perfect scent for the kitchen. Method also offers scents of lavender, cucumber, and mint for their dish soaps.

After a homemade Italian dinner of lasagna, chicken alfredo, parmesan bread, ceaser salad, and cake, there were plenty of chances to test Method Dish Soap and its ability to clean. It fought grease as well as any other dish liquid I've used. The dishes were sparkling and clean. I felt like Method Dish Soap was a little thinner than other soaps. This was an advantage when it came time to rinse, making sure that soapy residue wasn't left on my dishes.

Method Dish Soap was a great cleaner, with a fresh scent, and unique design.
