Pancakes and syrup are my go-to breakfast on the weekends for our family...but once breakfast is through, there are stains to be treated.
Difficulty: Easy
Time Required: 15 minutes
Here's How:
- Treat syrup stains quickly.
Waiting to treat a syrup stain, will make removal at least twice as hard. If you get to a syrup stain right away, chances are good that water alone will remove most of the stain. The longer you wait, the harder you'll need to work.
- Rinse with cold water.
Thoroughly rinse the syrup stained area with cold water.
- Use liquid detergent.
Gently rub liquid detergent onto the syrup stain and let stand for at least 5 minutes. Rinse through the back of the stained area with very hot water.
- Apply a liquid, gel, or stick stain remover to the syrup stain.
Wash normally. Check the stained area before drying to make sure it has been completely removed.
What You Need
- Laundry detergent
- Water
- Stain stick, gel, or spray
