Whether you say soda pop or soft drinks, carbonated beverages have taken over our lives. And where there is soda pop, there is bound to be spills, overflows, and finally, stains.

Here's How:
- Fresh Stains
If the soft drink stain is fresh, try to blot up as much as you can with a clean dry cloth. Soak the stain in cold water for 15 minutes. Continue with step 3.
- Dry Stains
Soak the soft drink stain with cold water for 15 minutes. If the stain is dried, you'll need to soak with liquid detergent until the stain loosens.
- Use laundry detergent.
Rub liquid detergent into the soft drink stain and let it stand for a few minutes.
- Wash in hot water.
Wash the clothing in the hottest water recommended for the fabric.
- If the stain remains...
If traces of the soft drink stain remain, apply a stain remover stick, gel, or spray and let stand for 5 minutes.
- Wash according to clothing directions.
After washing, check the stained area. If stain still remains, repeat steps above. Be sure stain is fully gone before drying the clothing.
